Organized according to Montana's Essential Understandings, this material is presented as a freely accessible resource. An outline of the topic headings and subheadings is provided as a helpful guide for navigating the categories.
Learning Activities include games, activities, maps and lesson plans to support teachers and students as they implement Indian Education for All in Montana.
Resources & Links provides a quick link to the official websites of the tribes and tribal colleges located in Montana. Within these pages you will also find tribal flags, and a land history abstract for each tribe. Links to recommended websites are organized by topic category, and Regional Learning Project and Office of Public Instruction sites are highlighted. The Resources section offers easy access to curriculum and media, which OPI provides for classroom teachers.
